Go deeper than a regular class. Something for every season.

A workshop changes it.
Regular classes are the heartbeat of what we do — and for most people, they’re more than enough. But workshops offer something different: time. Time to linger in a single concept, to ask questions, to try something twice, to understand the why behind the how.
Whether you’re brand new and want a gentle start, an established practitioner looking to work on a specific aspect of your practice, or simply someone who enjoys the community that forms around a shared afternoon — workshops are where things tend to shift.
At Phoenix, we run workshops throughout the year — themed around specific yoga styles and techniques, timed with the seasons, and occasionally featuring visiting teachers from the wider yoga world.
All workshops are listed on our Workshops & Series page, which is kept up to date as new dates are confirmed. The best way to hear first is to follow us on Instagram or join our mailing list — popular events often sell out quickly.
Three kinds of event — one studio.
Technique Workshops
2–3 hrs · all levelsDeep dives into specific aspects of the practice — arm balances, backbends, hip openers, pranayama, inversions. Each workshop takes one theme and gives it the time it deserves. Our teachers share alignment cues, anatomy, and the sequencing logic behind what you’re working on.
Immersive Series
Multi-week · ongoingOur series programme offers sustained, progressive exploration over several weeks. Rather than a single session, you commit to a journey — and build something that a one-off workshop can’t give you. Past series have included Yin foundations, restorative deepens and breath-centred practice. Browse what’s running now.
Special Events
Seasonal · one-offSolstice and equinox celebrations, community practice days, charity events, new year intentions sessions and occasional evening gatherings. These are the moments where Phoenix feels most like the community it is. Often free or low-cost for members.
Nothing scheduled right now.
We update the calendar regularly. Join the newsletter and you’ll hear first when new workshops go up.
Join the newsletter →The year has a rhythm. So does yoga.
We time many of our special events to the turning points of the year. Yoga has always been a practice attuned to the seasons — and gathering to mark them together makes both the yoga and the season more meaningful.
Spring
New beginnings, energising flows, setting intentions. Spring equinox gatherings and fresh-start workshops.
Summer
Summer solstice celebrations, outdoor-inspired themes, and community practice sessions. The lightest time of year, in both senses.
Autumn
Turning inward. Grounding practices, restorative deepens and equinox events as the pace of life slows.
Winter
Rest as practice. Yin intensives, breathwork evenings, winter solstice gatherings and new year intention sessions.
Guest teachers
Periodically, we open the studio to visiting teachers from the wider yoga community for special one-off workshops. These bring a fresh perspective to the Phoenix space and are always popular. They’re announced via our Instagram and newsletter first — follow us to stay in the loop.
