Rates

Honest pricing, no surprises.

Phoenix is community-owned — the studio belongs to the people who use it, and that shapes how we think about hiring it out. We’re not trying to extract maximum revenue from the space. We want good things to happen here: workshops, movement, creativity, rest. If what you’re doing fits that, you’re the kind of hire we want.

Community groups and not-for-profit organisations — please mention it when you enquire. We have a separate rate and we’re happy to work with you.

Studio hire

Common questions

We recommend booking at least two weeks ahead, especially for weekends. That said, if you have a shorter window, get in touch and we’ll do our best — we sometimes have availability at short notice.
The studio space, mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, and blankets. You’ll also have access to our sound system and, for evening bookings, our ambient lighting setup. Changing facilities are included.
Our minimum hire is two hours, which includes time to set up and clear away. This gives you a comfortable amount of teaching or event time in between.
Yes — you’re welcome to bring additional props, music, or specialist equipment. Just let us know in advance so we can make sure there’s space and that everything is safe and compatible with our setup.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the hire date receive a full refund. Within 7 days, we retain 50% of the hire fee. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. We’ll always try to find a replacement slot where possible.
