Yin yoga at Phoenix Yoga
All levelsMost popular

Yin

Hold. Breathe. Release. Yin focuses on long, passive holds that work deep into the connective tissues. Physically it opens the body; mentally it trains you to be still. The quietest class on the timetable, and often the most powerful.

Flow & Restore

This class has two gears. The first half moves you through a gentle vinyasa. The second half shifts into supported restorative poses. You’ll leave feeling like you’ve both worked and rested.

All levelsGood for beginners

Gentle Flow

The most accessible class on the timetable. A slow, unhurried pace with space to breathe, pause, and settle. A good first class if you’re new, and a reliable reset if you’re not.

Yin Yang Flow class

Yin Yang Flow

Two contrasting practices, one class. We open with Yin: long, passive holds. From there we move into vinyasa — heat, breath, movement, stamina. You leave feeling both energised and deeply grounded.

Why they teach here

“Every person on the mat is doing exactly enough. The kindness you extend to yourself in class tends to follow you home.”

Hannah — Yoga Teacher

“I teach the way I’d want someone to teach me — with patience, warmth, and real respect for wherever you are today.”

Juliet — Yoga Teacher

“The breath is the most intelligent thing about us. Everything else in the practice is really just learning to listen to it.”

Common questions

Questions about our classes.

If you're brand new to yoga, Gentle Flow or Fundamentals are ideal — they're specifically designed to build confidence without overwhelming you. If you've practised before but are returning after a break, any class on the timetable works. Still unsure? Drop us a message and we'll point you in the right direction.
Simple — our timetable is at phoenixyoga.co.uk/schedule. You’ll need an account to reserve your spot, which takes about two minutes to set up. Popular slots fill quickly, especially mornings and early evenings, so booking ahead is worth it.
Booking is always safer — if a class is full we can’t squeeze you in. Reserving your spot is free and takes about 30 seconds, so it’s worth doing. If you do turn up without booking, ask at the desk and we’ll do what we can.
No problem — cancel up to two hours before class and your credit comes straight back to your account. Cancellations within two hours, or if you don’t make it, the credit isn’t returned. This keeps things fair for everyone on the waitlist.
In many cases, yes. Please let your teacher know before class so they can offer appropriate modifications. For significant injuries or late-stage pregnancy, we'd recommend speaking to us first — we can help identify which classes are most suitable and which to avoid for now.

Looking for something more personal? We also offer private yoga sessions with our teachers.
